OVERVIEW \  Stylish Trulli Bed and Breakfast starting at $140

Set in the heart of the Valle D'Itria, this beautiful collection of a trulli and two lamia comprise Fikus, a stylish yet rustic Bed and breakfast. Fikus is a project born by Luisa and Francesco, a young Italian couple that met abroad but wanted to return to their homeland of Puglia. They dreamed of a slower life, yet one that allowed them to continue to work as professionals in the modern world. Luckily, they can now do that on their laptop under an olive tree. Surrounded by 2 acres of olive groves, the tranquil property has plenty of private and shared areas for guests to enjoy, including a panoramic terrace, infinity pool, edible garden, as well as private pergolas outside each room. Like the rest of the property, each of the 3 rooms are decorated with a thoughtfulness and comfort that results in a space that is both warm and welcoming but with a special international charm. It is their wish that you too, can live your Apulian dream.

ROOMS

Each of the 3 rooms are uniquely decorated and equipped with its own bathroom, private outdoor kitchen and patio. There are no tv's in the rooms, however there are plenty of books and magazines, and of course, access to wifi.

The trullo hosts a quadruple room, perfect for a family or small group of friends. Inspired by the idea of "creative recycling" where furniture and materials are thought to have more than one life, they elicited the help of Vlab Design Studio to help them source vintage pieces that brought their own personal stories. Sleeps 4 guests.

The oldest lamia is a one room studio, with outdoor kitchen, private patio with dining and sitting area, and outdoor shower. The inspiration comes from Apulia itself - the room is all white. White being the color of the Itria Valley Villages, the stone, grandma's embroidery, of light... Sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults + 2 children.

The second lamia is also a one room studio, this time with a journey theme, namely, Luisa and Francesco's journey. Raw materials of iron, wood, concrete and bare stone create an industrial vibe, and the minimal decor is created from treasures from each city the couple visited abroad. Sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults + 2 children.

Apulian Aperitif service can be arranged upon guests’ request, on the rooftop, in the garden or under the shades of your pergola.

Minimal access for guests with disabilities as the bathrooms do not allow for wheelchair space and are located in narrow door buildings (trullo and lamia).
