OVERVIEW \ charming Eco bed and breakfast starting at $115
Nestled up in the fertile Barrocal region between the coast of the Atlantic and the hills of the Serra in Portugal's Algarve region, guesthouse Casa Brava takes on its namesake sentiment, "Brava" meaning "wild" in Portuguese. A short drive from the historic market town of Loulé, this lovingly restored stone farmhouse has been given a new lease of life within it's fertile and natural habitat by its owner's Julie and Marc. Surrounded by a variety of Cork, Arbutus, Carob and Olive trees, Casa Brava Eco BnB and Organic Farm is a truly special hideaway which hosts an atmosphere that encourages a slower pace in which to relax and unwind. Renovated with careful consideration of its authentic character, guests enjoy their own private quarters to the side of the house. A small exterior stone passageway connects the comfortable bedroom, now housed in what was originally the sheepfold, to the luxurious bathroom; the former henhouse. Beautiful for enjoying a delicious organic, vegan breakfast with the birds, to relaxing with the evening sunset in the hammock; the private covered outdoor stone patio is a magical spot throughout the day and features a wood burning stove, perfect to take the edge off chilly evenings while listening to the quiet hum of the farm's tranquil and wild surroundings.
ROOMS
Open now for just one year, this private stone room is in high demand, so book early. The room is minimalist and simple in design, with regional furniture and natural tones, keeping with the authenticity of the rest of the property. Take in the magical surroundings from the covered outdoor stone patio with fireplace to keep you warm on those chilly nights.
