Scarebo Camp is located 45 minutes outside Marrakech, a collection of stark white tents set against the vast stone desert with breathtaking views of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains. This glamping experience was imagined by a couple from Belgium, Vincent T’Sas and Florence Mottet, who explain that Scarebo Camp has a magical formula of a charming bivouac of oriental-inspired tents that follow the rhythm of the seasons. This draws attention to what the camp is really about, absorbing the place and experiencing the purity of the Moroccan desert life. Whether you choose a more serene experience or one exploring the desert by one of the guided tours, Scarebo Camp is unique in that offers an opportunity for one to unwind and disconnect in a land that feels vastly removed from everyday life, but is only a short drive from the bustling medina of Marrakech.
ROOMS
The oriental-inspired tents are spacious and comfortable, decorated with unique pieces sourced both locally and from around the world. All sleeping tents have a bed, bathroom with shower, flushing toilet and sink with vanity. Each tent also has an outdoor sofa, perfect for relaxing in solitude and enjoying the sweeping vistas.
The camp itself features 15 tents for accommodation with eight double suite tents, two twin suites and five family suites, plus a reception tent and two dining and lounge tents scattered throughout the property. All the tents face out into the vast wilderness and provide incredible views.
HIGHLIGHTs
The design matches the landscape in tonal purity of the natural materials, white tents and bedding, caramel-leather chairs, travel artifacts, Moroccan lanterns, woven floor mats, neutral cushions… ultimately creating a feeling of being part of an expedition from a different time.
The food is incredible! Breakfast includes eggs, Moroccan pancakes, yogurt, coffee and tea. Lunch consists of a variety of small plates including chicken scewers, veggies, grains and more. Dinners include soup, tagine and cakes for dessert, enjoyed by candlelight around a communal table. Fresh bread is baked daily in a small traditional earthen oven.

NEED TO KNOW
This is a back-to-basics camp, essentially a luxury tent with modern amenities in the middle of nowhere. Don’t come expecting to watch tv and to surf the net. Come to disconnect, slow down, and appreciate your surroundings.

Some may prefer to relax in the camp, while others may want to take advantage of other activities offered such as quad/bike tours, dune buggy tour, massage, camel rides, horse-back riding, desert treks, stargazing with astronomy professor, yoga classes and hot air balooning.
